Welcome to the Retired Teachers of Ontario Distict 42
in beautiful British Columbia.

District 42 is one of 48 districts of RTO/ERO dedicated to promoting and protecting the interests of retired educators who make their home in Mainland BC.

As our district covers a vast area it is divided into two units. Unit 1 covers the Lower Mainland and Sunshine Coast (LMSC) while Unit 2 covers the balance of Mainland B. C.(Interior). Many members of Unit 2 live in the Okanagan Valley. Meetings and events for each Unit are organized locally. An AGM for the district is held in a location in one of the Units and alternates yearly between the Units. Penticton
